కర్నూలులో డ్రోన్‌ నుంచి క్షిపణి ప్రయోగం సక్సెస్‌

కర్నూలు జిల్లా నేషనల్‌ ఓపెన్‌ ఏరియా రేంజి(ఎన్‌ఓఏఆర్‌)లో డ్రోన్‌ నుంచి క్షిపణి ప్రయోగాన్ని విజయవంతంగా పరీక్షించినట్లు కేంద్ర రక్షణ శాఖ మంత్రి రాజ్‌నాథ్‌సింగ్‌ తెలిపారు. ఆ మేరకు సోషల్‌ మీడియా వేదికగా ఆయన స్పందించారు. ఈ క్షిపణిని అభివృద్ధి చేయడంలోను పరీక్షించడంలోను భాగస్వాములైన డీఆర్‌డీఓ, ఎంఎస్‌ఎంఈలు, స్టార్టప్‌లను ఆయన అభినందించారు. కష్టతమైన, సంక్లిష్టమైన టెక్నాలజీని అర్థం చేసుకోవడంతో పాటు దానిని తయారీ చేయగల సామర్థ్యాన్ని కూడా భారత దేశం కలిగి ఉందని చెప్పడానికి ఈ డ్రోన్‌ క్షిపణి ప్రయోగం నిరూపించిందని రాజ్‌నాథ్‌ సింగ్‌ పేర్కొన్నారు. దేశీయంగా డెవలప్‌ చేసిన ఈ క్షిపణిని యూఏవీ లాంచ్డ్ ప్రషన్‌ గైడెడ్‌ మిస్సైల్‌(యూఎల్‌పీజీఎం)–వీ3గా వ్యవహరించిందని పేర్కొన్నారు. ఈ క్షిపణిని పరీక్షించేందుకు కర్నూలు జిల్లా ఓర్వకల్లు మండలం పాలకొలను సమీపంలోని డీఆర్‌డీవో పరిధిలోని ఎన్‌ఓఏఆర్‌ పరీక్షా కేంద్రాన్ని ఎంచుకున్నారు.
